Water Stagnant & Drainage Issues…

Drainage system plays a very vital role in cities as there are mostly buildings… Nowadays Apartments are the one we often see.

It has the advantage of occupying many families within a limited space. Also, the fun in apartment life has no boundary that too as kids. Families will celebrate all festivals together whatever it may be. Distribute food items, with love. This creates a very nice bond between them. Also, it is safe to be in apartment. If in case of emergency, many neighbours will be there to help us.

In addition to this, we have some disadvantages too. If families have babies, then that’s all. Babies won’t sleep due to the noise created by kids while playing. These create lots of problems. Also, maintenance plays a very important role in Apartment life. Every family has to contribute in maintaining cleanliness which is a major issue. Also, if drainage system is not well in Apartments, then that’s it. We have to dispose the drainage water frequently..

If cities don’t have proper drainage facilities then it results in water stagnant which causes many diseases… That too in rainy season, it is worst. Below were the snaps that I took near our apartment.

I didn’t mean to hurt anyone. I also didn’t say that all Apartments and Cities are like this. Just sharing my thoughts….

White Spider...

I just clicked some snaps of a white spider which i saw in our rest room door. Please bear with this as am not an expert in clicking... just a learner...

My True Love…

You and I
Were alone
Holding me together
You were so close to me
I can feel your breathe and warm
There’s no one to mind our presence
I can see my true love right in front of me
What a wonderful feel, as Iam the world’s happiest person
What a startle, all my wishes are coming true
How come my wishes coming true always
Had a doubt, wait a minute
Where else will come true
Opened my eyes, got it
Always in

Merry Christmas…

Christmas… As iam Hindu, I used to go to my friends house to celebrate Christmas with their family in school days. One of my friends, even teached me a prayer song which I sang in their house with them… I felt very happy…

Jesus Christ… Watched him in many movies and read about his sacrifice for the sake of mankind… Felt tears for his pain…

For me, “God” is one, whom we all used to call and pray in different names as per our wish…

During college life, watched many of our buddies decorating wonderful Jesus Cribs in their rooms… We really enjoyed it… We have so many festivals but this one is very great celebs for you all… We too enjoy this by watching so many programmes and having sweets and cakes…

Guys… Wish you all a very Happy Christmas…

P.S.  If I hurt anyone’s feeling pls forgive me as I don’t know in depth about Christmas…
Images got from Google…

A Smile…

It’s
Inestimable
Has potency
Elixir of life
Makes friendship even with strangers
Though don’t have much money, this makes happy
A beautiful smile is one that comes out of tears after much struggle
So many languages in the world, but smile can speak them all,
Even a baby can conceive, get rids our worries
It differs with the situation love, affection, care, jealous, fun list goes on
Give this in workplace, nice way of approach
Creates much fans for us
So it’s mandatory
Every person
Needs
This

P.S. I broke centre 21 words into 2 lines
Got inspired, also infected from Fiona’s Fibonacci Fever…

Reward of Being So True….

Hi… this is my 50th post. Thought to share one of my memories in college life. Once I borrowed a book from our library. I think it’s Electromagnetic Theory (oops I forgot the author). I opened the book and kept on my desk in my classroom. I thought to refer something important.

At that time, two friends of my class were fighting friendly. Suddenly, one fell on my desk and made a paper to tear. I don’t know what to do as our librarian was very strict. My friend just apologized to me. I even can’t scold him as this was my mistake. I should have referred in home. My friends told me to return the book without telling anything.

If the librarian caught me while returning, then that’s all. It will be much shameful. So, I went to him and told about that paper. Thought that, he will reduce my punishment. But, he asked me to buy a new book for that. I was really worried as that book was much expensive due to foreign author. Also, don’t know where to get it.

Everyone scolded me for not lying. At last, my cousin brother bought it from his place. He didn't tell me how much it cost and also he refused to get money from me. So, my mom was really angry for giving him burden.

If I have lied to the librarian or kept quiet while returning, then may be I would have escaped from this one. But, in one way am happy that I didn’t lied against my heart. According to me, lying is acceptable if others get benefit in a good way…

Some Memorable Playing...

Playing with Dolls

In my childhood, I was very fond of playing with dolls especially bathing it, combing it, getting it dressed, stitching new dresses to my doll…  I have combed my doll that much that it became bald. I remember, my sister makes fun of me as I applied soap too much in one of my toy that it became colourless that to in belly area…

Playing with Kitchen Stuffs

I love to play with kitchen stuffs even in home or in my granny’s place. In my granny’s place one of our friend will be a store keeper…He will supply us rice (sand), chilli powder (brick powder), oil (water), vegetables (leaves & flowers) in exchange of different shapes of stones (money)…We used to play with clay stuffs. That was really fun…

Playing with Pencil Boxes

In my primary schooldays, we used to play with pencil boxes. Using rubber bands we will tie saree to our boxes with handkerchiefs… I used to eat lots of balpams (local chalks) in that time & got nice beatings from mom…

Playing Hide & Seek

Hide & seek is a very common game. Its lot of fun playing with several close buddies…

Playing Nondi (with one leg)

We used to have teams & different pet names. Pet names will be like flowers, fruits, animals…. Team leader will say the pet names of his/her team members to the opponent team. The opponent team will pick a name and that person has to go & catch the opponent team members with one leg…

Playing Sand & Stone

In this game, we used to sing a song asking the catcher whether he prefers sand or stone. If the catcher says sand, then the other players have to move to stone areas. When the players start to move from stone to stone, the catcher will catch them when they are in sand area…

Playing Antakshari

This is a singing game. We have to sing with the last letter or last word of the previous person song.

Playing Dumb Charades

This is fun in school & college life. The opponent team person will say the name of a film, song, flower or any words to a person. That person has to explain it with action without moving his/her lips to the team members. Sometimes we used to pick papers where these words are written in it…

Playing Chris-ma & Chris-child

In our college final year, we played this game. It’s so fun and also emotional as we got separated after college life.

In this participant names are written in a paper & it’s shuffled. When a person picks a paper, the name in that paper is the Chris-child of the picked person (Chris-ma). Chris-ma will give lots of presents & sometimes instructions like wearing a particular dress & have to do funny things… in a paper to the Chris-child. The Chris-child has to obey these instructions. When the game ends, Chris-ma will appear before Chris-child. Now Chris-child has to give present to his/her Chris-ma.

Weeping Heart…

Oh my Love
I laughed when you laugh
I wept when you cried
I felt depressed when you were sad
I worried when you were upset

Oh my Love
I cared much about you than myself
I sacrificed everything for you
Even the food which I liked most
I changed my entire habits
To make you happy

Oh my Love
You didn’t even realise
About how I felt for you
You were everything to me
But to you iam nothing
You even forgot my presence

Knowing this
My heart couldn’t tolerate the pain
My eyes were bursting in tears
I was weeping for what you did to me

Oh my sweetheart
Even now you didn’t know
That you broke my fragile heart
Which is bleeding in pain...

Karthigai Deepam

Karthigai Deepam is celebrated as a ten day festival and is widely known as Karthigai Brahmotsavam. This occurs on the day when the moon is in conjunction with the constellation Karthigai (Pleiades) and Purnima. This constellation appears as a group of six stars in the shape of a pendant from the ear.

In Indian mythology, it is considered that these six stars known as celestial nymphs has brought up the six babies whom later were joined together to form the six faced Lord Muruga. Hence, he is also called as Lord Karthikeya.

On this day only a huge beacon is lit on the holy hill of Lord Arunachaleshwara (Lord Shiva) temple. After watching this deepam (light) either directly or through TV, people will start to lit up rows of oil lamps (deepam) in their houses in the evening of this festival day.

Unfulfilled Vows....

They both loved each other sincerely
Were called as “love birds” by some
And “Made for each other” by some

Luckily with everyone’s acknowledgement
Had their great wedding ceremony

They started their life very blissfully
But due to some vows
Made by them or their family members
Which remain unfulfilled

Created much quarrels between the couples
And the family members
Due to this misconceive
Couples life became tragedy
Leading to Divorce

Try to keep up with your promises
Never ever try to betray your partner
Even before & after your wedding

Family members
Let them have a wonderful life
Happily lived ever after….

Rainy Shopping….

Yesterday, I attended my first bank exam in T Nagar (Chennai).  Since, it was my first attempt, I prepared a bit and I hope I attended well. Yesterday, rain and time are of great obstacles to me.

As my parents took care of my kid, we thought to go for purchase after the exam. We had cheese pizza, bread channa and an ice cream.

Then I bought some chudi materials and thought to stitch it there. For that stitching time, we went to visit other show rooms. We had some hot spicy corns which suited the climate very well.

Due to rain, crowd was little bit less. Rain water in roads made people difficult to walk…

We bought our dresses and returned to home… This was really fun that to after finishing exam…

Hope, you guys enjoy the snaps…

Our Dreams…

Everybody used to dream about something. Some were very common to most people.  Researchers have found that dreams of being pursued and of falling from a height are the two most common dreams. Other common dreams are flying and examinations dreams and of being naked in public.

Being Pursued

In most of my dreams, a snake will chase me to bite. It never manages to catch me as I always wake up in the terror end. My dad used to scold me, since I love to watch the snake episodes in Animal Planet/Discovery channel. Also, he will insist me not to watch this kind of stuffs while iam going to bed… If I watched any horror movie, that’s all, I surely get that dream… I can’t sleep after that…

Researchers found that such kind of dreams indicate that we are trying to escape from something, a challenge or a responsibility or emotion that we can’t handle…

Falling Dreams

Very rarely I got such kind of dreams. It represents a loss of control, helplessness, or being in danger or we fear the loss of security…

Flying Dreams

I don’t remember about such kind of dreams. But it indicates that you could be effective and competent in relation to recent event in your life...

Examination Dreams

Ha… this is what I always used to get even after completing my graduation. It’s like I will forget all my preparations while iam in exam hall or I will be late to my exam or I didn’t prepared anything while others where studied in depth and I need to attend that exam within half an hour or I didn’t finished my exam but the bell has rang….

These dreams may coincide in our life when we feel that in the coming days we may be tested and are anxious about the outcome… These are not warning or predicting a particular outcome. People who actually failed in an exam do not have such dreams. So, it assures that the person will do it successfully like they had done in school or college…

Being naked in Public

Everyone will hesitate to say that they had such kind of dreams.  Because they think that others would laugh at them.

This dream has nothing to do with sex. But it has the feeling of being exposed, embarrassed or ashamed. It indicates honesty, where the person wants to reveal something about him/her…

My Tsunami Dream

During the first tsunami incident, I got a dream like I was in my grandma’s place and my mom was cleaning some dishes outside while I found great waves coming just behind her. Iam shouting her to run, but she was coolly saying that she needs to complete her work…

When I told this dream to my mom, she said “even in your dreams iam doing my kitchen stuffs “. I couldn’t control my laughter. This funny dream made my family laugh…

Actually, I just thought of posting my dreams alone, but yesterday I read these explanations to our dreams in a paper. I thought to share with you all…

Dietary Fibre…

Actually, I was searching in the Google for the diets which helps to reduce constipation for my kid. I came across this dietary fibre… I thought it’s interesting and not only helps my son but also to me to reduce my weight…

There are two types of fibre in food, soluble and insoluble.

Soluble Fibre

It dissolves in water and forms a gel like substance in the intestine which helps the food to move through the digestive tract. It also prevents cholesterol entering our blood stream thus regulating our blood glucose levels. Obviously, helps in reducing our weight.

Oat bran, apples, citrus fruits, oatmeal and barley have this type of fibre….

Insoluble Fibre

It does not dissolve in water and moves through the intestines without being absorbed. This type of fibre adds bulk to bowel movements and reduces constipation. It also causes a sensation of being full.

Wheat and its bran, rye, brown rice, apple skin, cherries, grapes, oranges, pineapple, dates, rhubarb, melons, prunes, berries, turnips, beets, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, carrots, leafy greens, broccoli, green beans, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, corn, pumpkin and flax seeds, peanuts, walnuts, cashews, almonds, popcorn and lentils have this type of fibre…

Our Generation….

During our Granny’s period, they used to have their own medicines for most of the diseases. It also worked well. That time, there’s no pollution. They used to have healthy food though they take it in a simple way. Their lifespan was increased due to this peace environment…

But now, things have changed very far.  Our own medicines are not working on us mostly due to impurities in the ingredients. So, even for a small issue, we are in need of a doctor. Now our environment is more polluted. The food items what we get is not that much healthy when compared to our granny’s time. Our lifespan has decreased due to this machine life environment…

Now technology development is in a very high peak...  In one side, it’s a very happiest thing. But in the other side, we are slowly losing our nature in many ways…

Too much of anything will lead to issues….

Pregnancy Experience…

When I came across Lina’s pregnancy post, I thought why not I share my experience with u all…  Please, bear with this one…

Pregnancy is a very beautiful thing. It’s a very nice feel that our child is growing in our womb and we will be glowing out…

When I got confirmed, I was so happy… You know, within 8 weeks, baby’s parts will be fully formed and then its duty is to grow in size…

During my fifth month, my mom came with bangles, flowers to decorate (Jadai for my hair), varieties of rice and sweets. That’s our tradition. Mothers, Aunts, Sisters, Sister-in-laws will do the same thing in odd months (5, 7 & 9).

Above snaps were taken during my seventh month…

After fifth month, we can feel baby’s movement. One day, I kept my bro’s hand on my tummy to feel the movement. You know, he was so happy that he told all his friends about this. While taking scan, my tummy used to shake always. My doctor used to kid that my son seems to be so active…

During pregnancy time, please be happy and healthy always; don’t think about the problems too much. It will affect your child’s health. Try to be active always, so that baby too will be active. I used to go to temple and listen to music…. Pray God…

Seemantham

Seemantham is an event conducted to pregnant ladies. This will be during 7th or 9th month. Ladies will bless by putting bangles to that pregnant lady. This is for the health of that mother & child…

For me, it was during my 9th month. Hope u all enjoy the snaps…

Below one was my 2 day’s old son…
My son’s present day snap….
